David Armour Architecture developed this conceptual proposal illustrating the development potential of 543 Chenery Street

The design proposal includes a vertical addition for a new third story as well as a horizontal addition at all levels of the home.

The concept retains the existing front façade; however, given the degree of varied architectural styles in the vicinity, façade alterations may be possible, subject to review by historic preservation staff at the Planning Department.

There is potential for a roof deck, creating additional outdoor space and taking advantage of likely expansive views.

The building permit process will require public notification under Planning Code section 311.

The design is an expression of David Armour Architecture’s professional opinion, Planning and Building Department staff have not reviewed the design concept.
